SYNOPSIS

While World War I was looming, the Ottoman Empire was crumbling. Constantinople, its formerly prosperous and radiant capital, was on the verge of obliteration. Michael Boghosian arrives in the cosmopolitan city to study medicine. Reporter Chris Myers is also in town covering political current affairs, but also to watch over Ana, an Armenian artist he had been accompanying since Paris and who he had fallen in love with. When Michael meets Ana, both with the same origins, they are immediately attracted to one another, leading to rivalry between the two men.
