Farida and Satra both bound by a tragedy and the turmoil of a blood feud, cross paths amidst escalating violence rooted in land of disputes, and get involved in hopes to undo a conflict stretching back to past generation.

Sheron R. Dayoc is a Mindanaon filmmaker and a visual artist who graduated with a degree in AB Philosophy. He is an alumnus of Asian Film Academy in Pusan, Korea (Pusan International Film festival 2008) and NEXT Master Class. He has honed his craft by producing several documentaries, which includes his Asian Pitch 2008 documentary (MediaCorp/NHK Japan) A WEAVER'S TALE which won him a Certificate of Creative Excellence from the U.S. International Film and Video Festival 2010.
His first short narrative ANGAN-ANGAN (DREAMS) won a special jury Citation at the Cinemalaya Film Festival 2008 and nominated for Best Short Film at the 2009 Gawad Urian. The said film competed in the 2009 7ème Festival Signes de Nuit Paris and traveled to various Festivals in Europe and the USA. HALAW (WAYS OF THE SEA) is his first feature length film which won Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Editing at Cinemalaya Film Festival and won the Special Mention, NETPAC at the Berlin Film Festival, Best Picture at the New York Hell’s Kitchen IFF, and the NETPAC Development Prize at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards. It has competed at more than thirty festivals all over the world.
